A single source rarely supports every field in a castle profile. Use a source matched to the kind of claim you are making.
Identity and coordinates
Use stable registry or knowledge-graph identifiers, versioned coordinates, and alternate-name evidence.
- Keep source identifier and revision.
- Do not merge by name alone.
- Reject invalid geometry.
History and designation
Use heritage registers, archives, scholarship, and official chronologies for construction phases, events, and status.
- One citation per claim.
- Preserve conflicting dates.
- Name the designated property exactly.
Media and visitor facts
Media needs creator, license, license URL, and source page. Visitor facts need a recent operator source.
- No unattributed image.
- No stale opening hours.
- No inferred accessibility claim.
