Does the atlas claim complete world coverage?
No. The committed snapshot contains 26,802 source-identified fortified sites across 156 country/territory codes. It is a living, source-bounded index—not a literal completeness claim.
Does every discovery point have a complete profile?
No. Discovery breadth and profile depth are separate. The local release ledger reports 35 rich fixture profiles; a separate 1,000-profile machine-enriched checkpoint remains pending publication review.
Can I browse without an account?
Yes in the verified local product design. Account features are intended for optional sync and restoration, not as an entry toll.
How does Nearby use location?
The local iOS build requests one-shot When In Use location only after the user invokes Nearby and retains no location history. Production behavior still requires release verification.
Is Castle Atlas live in the App Store?
No public listing is claimed here. The source has a verified local iOS release build, while Apple signing, App Store Connect, production products, and review remain operator-owned steps.
